Want to cut tapers on your LZ-1340? While you can cut tapers with your compound angle toolpost, we recommend this telescoping taper attachment to eliminate the guess work. Set th angle of the taper or the taper in inches per foot, crank your long feed handle the length of your taper, and repeat until your have reached the desired beginning and end diameters. Cuts continuous tapers up to 10". Excellent for boring internal tapers or making duplicates.
