Light Industrial Quality Mill or Lathe:

Smithy CNC Mill and Lathes are designed, built and tested to meet tolerance and reliability standards that will assure machine owners they will be able to consistently produce quality parts.

Industrial Quality Control System:

The EZ-Trol CNC Controller is built to international ISO standards for industrial automation equipment. The quality, functionality and safety features of EZ-Trol components are unmatched by other small CNC builders. Also, the EZ-Trol system is built and tested in the US at our facilities in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Industrial Quality Software:

The EZ-Trol Software is built on the foundation CNC automation program called EMC2. EMC2 is an incredibly robust motion control system that is used in a wide variety of industrial and military applications. EZ-Trol includes a user interface that is as easy to use as your home PC while giving Talon CNC machines industrial level CNC automation capabilities.

Engineering and Programming Support:

The Smithy Engineering Staff are on-call and waiting to help with your design and part file programming needs. Hourly rates are reasonable ($28/hr) and our experienced engineers know how to get the most from your Talon CNC machine. If you are new to CNC machining you may find it to your advantage to rely on Smithy's engineering staff while you are getting up to speed.
